Vision-Link are a young, innovative, and technically focused organisation. We devote a substantial proportion of our revenue to the development of new products and services, as well as continuous improvement of existing products, to ensure that they are always at the forefront of technology, without compromising reliability.
Our existing product line was developed to suit our existing clients' requirements, drawing on the skills and experience of our hardware and software engineers, to deliver a product which more than met expectations. New clients can expect the same level of expertise and co-operative development to ensure 100% satisfaction with our installed product. We also provide remote and on-site support for all our installed products.
Vision Link have developed a reputation for going the extra mile for high-profile clients such as the Environment Agency and New Forest District Council, and we recognise that continuing support is vital to the long-term future of our customers' projects and our own business.
We typically split our project development process into a number of steps, with full customer involvement as necessary to ensure that what is delivered fully meets the customers' needs.
Definition phase – we work with the customer's engineering team to develop the specification. Our expertise frequently allows us to suggest product enhancements that the customer had not envisaged, and these enhancements often cost less when incorporated from day one than they would have done as additions to the specification at a later date.
Where necessary, a research phase is incorporated to ensure that we deliver the 'best fit' technology, taking the projected lifespan of the project and the rapid pace of technological change into account.
Design phase – where the requirements specification is turned into a pre-production prototype, which is used to evaluate the performance of the product against the customer's specification. The customer is usually involved in the final testing and approval, to ensure that the delivered product contains no surprises. This phase includes the necessary testing to ensure that applicable international standards are met, and the product receives certification and the associated product marking.
Production – our production process ensures that we accurately reproduce the approved product, with all products receiving a comprehensive end-of-line test prior to shipment.
We are able to customise our standard products to suit your application, or, if necessary, create completely new designs. People are often surprised at what is possible with the latest technology, so if you have an application but are unsure how to turn your ideas into reality, we would be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.
